A blast of ripe, fresh pineapple and grapefruit, with high acidity. Gato Negro is rather simple in flavor, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The focus is more on its intense fruitiness. Light bodied, Gato Negro is quite refreshing and easy to drink, with a long, pleasing finish. Definitely a fun wine that’s great for warm summer days on the porch. I give it a solid 3.5 out of 4.0.
This sounds like it might be a good base for a summer sangria?

I confess when it comes to sangria I tend to prefer the more traditional ones that are made with red wine, after all think of where the name comes from. 😀
Still I agree with you, this would be a good base for a white sangria. I’d add some white rum or maybe brandy to give it a deeper flavor.

I usually do add some brandy or something, was thinking some citrus and something seasonal-peaches are good right now!
