Wine Advent-ure Day 4:

Let Good Be Red Blend (IGP)

Like Sicily’s beautiful beaches and the placid blues and greens of the Mediterranean, the title of this wine suggests a laid back, relax and chill vibe. Does the wine match that vibe? Absolutely.

Made with organic grapes, this is a fresh, fruity red, bright with aromas and flavors of cherries, brambleberries and even cranberries, with a vibrant acidity. It has a medium body with tannins providing a little structure and complexity. It makes me think of a more elegant Beaujolais. Let Good Be is not only an easy drinking red, it’s one of the few reds I consider to be a porch pounder. Great on its own, aroundtheworldinwines.com also recommends it with hamburgers and other fun fare.
